Working Time Management Mom’s

When you walk in the door, you see a stack of papers floating around your desk, and when you go home, just as at the office, you can’t find those important papers you need so desperately to stay out of trouble or make an excuse. When you come home at night, you and your spouse argue, and your children ignore you because you just aren’t spending family time with some of the important people in your life.

Does this sound familiar? Have you ever wondered why? Well, you are not managing your time accordingly so that you reap benefits and the ones you love are happy. You are not organized, so therefore how the heck can you find those important documents? Moms already have a big responsibility and we neglect to manage our times, our responsibilities turn to chaos.

Let’s face it; it is never easy to stay organized when we have busy work schedules and a family to attend to, as well as other responsibilities. The traditional individuals often store files in a filing cabinet, and clean their room and desk once every week. However, there are people out there that are spontaneous. Some of us even store documents so they are out of sight and soon find those documents are out of mind, until someone calls their attention to the papers. The key to success moms is getting your priorities straight. If you shop for groceries once per week, you can cut back time by buying enough to last longer, so that grocery shopping isn’t part of your weekly plan. The extra hour or more that you spend at the supermarket can be spent on quality time with the family. This is only one solution to managing your time, but it is certainly a start. In addition, you can make up a list of your duties, starting with the most important tasks first, and working through the list one at a time. I found this to be a great solution for managing time, since when you work hard to complete one task, the rests fall into place with ease. If you spend an hour or even one half hour in the mirror, it is probably because you are not feeling good about your self. It takes approximately five minutes to put make-up on, and to stand in the mirror longer is only taking up time. Hair is also important since our person in general sets an impression. If you spend longer time than needed doing your hair, try finding nice looking hairstyles that are less complicated to style. This is also a great process of the time management solution. Clothing should also be limited but appropriate for whatever it is that you doing and it should not take less than a couple of minutes to get dressed. Unless you are a model, or actress, overdressing is not appropriate in most cases for every day life situations. If you are spending extra time preparing meals, you might want to consider recipes that are quick and healthy to manage your time mom.

Where did my Time go, why can’t I Manage?

Have you ever wondered where you time went? Sure you have…we all have at one point in our lifetime. We all sit around looking back at a series of wasted time we invested and wonder where the time went. If we would have planned, organized, worked hard, and set goals, we would be looking back wondering how we can move beyond our already achieved goals. But no, we did not have a plan, set our goals straight, stay organized, or worked our booties off to achieve the goals we planned. Don’t complain you did it!

Planning Ahead

Planning ahead is a step to managing time. When we plan ahead, we are setting goals that we can achieve over a course of time. Planning is the process of devising or projecting a realization of achievement. Therefore, when we are planning we should plan both short and long-term goals that we can meet. If we over dramatize our goals, we will be sitting on a couch looking back wondering where our time went. If we start out with smaller goals and work to achieve these goals, our long-term goals will be an easy ride uphill. Unless you have some terminal disease, you always can reach a level of completeness, as long as you are planning a head, reaching for achievable goals, and making the effort to get to the top is the key to success. We all make mistakes, but the trick is to learn from those mistakes. If your plan is in action and you find a problem area has developed, step back and take a good, long look at what caused the problem. If the problem occurred as a direct result of your planning scheme, then you know right of the bat that your plans need modification. Time management is the process of making plans work, by developing skills and using actions that make the process run smoothly. Do not sit around looking back, since this too waste time if you are not doing anything about it. Take the step to developing a scheme that works smoothly with your schedule and situation. When you are planning before sure you calculate factors that could change your planning scheme. Changes such as weather disasters, lost data, changes in relationships, family, and so on are some of the factors you should calculate into your planning scheme for time management. Don’t fool yourself into believing that nothing ever changes. The fact is everyday all things are changing as a direct force of reality. The key then is to move forward with caution, yet not worry about everything that is changing around you. If it is going to happen it will, but don’t let it be an accident or incident caused by your negligence in time managing planning. Everyday, if possible, you should make list of the tasks you want to achieve and work through those tasks until they are completed. Anytime we complete a task, we are encouraging our self-esteems and promoting motivation.

Transactional Analysis Time Management

Transactional analysis time management is the process of combining two strategies into one plan, making it come together to reach a specific target. For example, when we are working, playing, or doing anything that connects to a goal, we need social skills and effectual communication to make it work. If we are lacking in social skills and communication our time management scheme will surely fail.
If you are ready to get started, today we are going to learn some information that can help us flow with ease through life and through everything, our life touches.
When I attended college, I had a major problem communicating effectively with people around me, including understanding the people around me. I often thought that the world was filled with chaos and I lacked confidence in myself to achieve any goal I developed. My life was filled with misery and I had very few friends since they all talked in a foreign language. After attending college and working with my publisher I soon learned the problem was not only my own, but that of others. In fact, they were talking a foreign language. At college, my speech professor explained dialect telling us how it affects communication and social skills. If we are not understanding that each of us are different in their own way, we are often on the road to failure since life and time management carry these basic principals that lead us to success. Dialect consists of grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary, language, and so on. The world focuses on proper English as a rule to follow that leads us to productivity. The fact is most American’s do not know proper English, because they fail to understand dialect. I visited my old Elementary school and apologized one day to my principal, and he said I spoke fluent English. It made me think! The American English first came into focus in the earlier centuries and came directly from England. The English Language spoken in the United States is mixed up and visibly distinguished from British England, yet not as different as to be a divided language. This means everyone has their own method of communicating; leading us to believe that proper English is a diverse form of communication and it takes an open mind to communicate effectively as well as having social skills that develop good relationships. We are all different in our own ways, and so are our languages. No one really has the correct way of communicating effectively, yet all of us must conform to some rule. This is where we combine elements of one technique with another to make a complicated skill work.
Now to combine transactional analysis to get time management in order, we must open our minds and think creative to reach a goal. The transitional action is the process of communicative (open-mind) action connecting more than one person or things that equally have an effect on our influence of how we connect. Analysis then is the employ of purpose word in its place of inflectional forms as a characteristic method of a verbal communication.
Inflectional is changes in your tone or volume in the voice, and the changes of form that words undertake to mark differences that meet gender, race, mood, tension, voice, number of people and so on in the process of communication and socializing. Breaking it down, when you keep an open mind you are combining transactional analysis, contributing to time management since social skills and communication are CRITICAL to reaching goals and managing time. We can also consider other facets of analysis that can help us produce effectual communication and social skills. After carefully analyzing words for years, I come to the conclusion that understanding is part of the speaker’s problem. If you do not understand someone, it might not be you with the problem. The speaker if he or she is not using their words properly can interrupt communication negatively. There fore you must learn to listen to speakers, reading between the lines as you hear what they are saying. Finally, if we want a well planned time management scheme, we have to work hard everyday to make our dreams come true!

Tools for Managing Time

No, I am not going to tell you to purchase monkey wrenches, hammers, nails or other mechanical tools to manage your time. Rather, we are going to talk about tools such as, persuasive writing, which is a part of communication. Persuasive writing and communication skills are great tools for time management in the sense it brings forth successful results. Today, specialists are required to use the power of manipulation positively to get results in business development. When we use persuasive writing and communication in our daily lives we are manufacturing effectual communications skills in our voice, emails, proposals, and other forms of documentation that we frequently adhere to daily in our business. If you have problems with communication upfront and in person, then you will need to learn accuracy, information dialect, organizing skills, and corporate communications, which means reading between the lines. When you are sending emails, promotional materials, or creating a website for your company, you will need effective communication skills. The world is filled with advertising slicks, and often the slicks are highly enticing, so if you are not ahead of the game, your messages might rank at bottom.

Stress is another problem many of us face today due to the face pace changes in our daily lives. Managing stress is important since stress affects our health, also it can affect others in our lives. Time management will help reduce this stress if the proper tools are used. You want your co-workers to listen when you talk, and if you show signs of stress, your co-workers are going to focus on you and not what you are saying.

In time management, we also have to consider evocative conferences since most businesses have meetings regularly. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics says that over half of the businesses spend the majority of their time in conferences. Therefore, to manage your time you will need to learn practical skills that will benefit you in a meeting as well as outside of your business. Practical skills include taking notes before a conference begins, and learning how to write persuasive proposals and plans.

Another helpful idea for time management is including tools that support and help you with time and precedence organization. When you are in a business that requires multitasking skills, and the business is in constant change, then learning yourself and managing your time is essential to achieve.

We also have to consider our customers in business, our family at home, our friends, and others that touch our lives. Quality customer service is important to any business. I will be the first to tell anyone that the first thing I look for at a business is customer service. If the reps of the business are making any mistakes, trust me, I deal with them, and rarely return. I am a human being and refuse to be treated ill, so learning effective communication and customer service skills is vital to time management.

Motivation is also a helpful tool that helps us to manage our time. Stay focused, motivated, learn communication, plan, strategic, and manage your time well.

Time Managing in a Diverse Society

Our society consists of all types of people with traditional beliefs, modern ways, structure, gender, roles, class, and occupations and so on. To create a time management scheme that works we have to consider many factors, since we are involved with other people all the time. Often our world has hidden messages, as well as obvious resources that help us to see where we are going with our plans. The best solution then for setting up a time management scheme is finding out first if your goals are obtainable and what information is available that can help us to achieve our goals. When we set short and long-term goals, we have to include many factors into the scheme. For example, if you see your self in five years living in the beautiful state of Colorado on the mountain, in a log cabin. What plans do you need to lay out that can help you reach this goal, and what actions do you need to take to reach this goal? It should be obvious that you will need financial resources to achieve this goal. Therefore, in your time management plans you will need to include a financial savings that will help you to achieve this goal in five years. Sometimes we can meet our five-year goals, so we may have to include setbacks in the plan and how we can divert another strategy to achieve our goal. Financial obligations such as house payments, car payments, college tuitions, bills, and so on are obstacles and responsibilities that can delay our ability to achieve this goal. In your time management scheme you want to include budgeting then since if you want this goal you will have to make sacrifices.

Budgeting

IF you do not already have a car, and plan to purchase a car…do you need an expensive car? Expensive cars cost more for maintenance and often are just a mechanism for showy displays. Why not save yourself some expense and purchase a car that offers economical savings, as well as low maintenance costs. Insurance and car payments on expensive cars are also higher than economical cars. If you are paying $700-$800 per month for a car payment, and making payments on high rated insurance polices, you are spending a thousand you ordinarily wouldn’t spend if you made a wiser decision. Since the system is diverse many of us try to keep up with the ‘Smith and Jones,” failing to realize that we are who we are. In addition, if you have a home mortgage and paying $700 per month, is it possible you had the mortgage long enough that you could take out another loan that provides resources for vacation packages, lower interest rates, lower mortgage payments, overpayments or underpayment plans? This will help you to repay your mortgage sooner if you make a wise decision and not jump into another commitment spontaneously. If you cut back on your expenses, you will see that you have more money to save for the short-term goal you planned in your time management strategy. If you are spending $150-$200 per month for groceries, is it possible you could buy cheaper produces and products to cut back on your spending? What about your selection or attire? Are you buying clothes to impress or to dress? There are many second-hand stores, rummages, and other sources that offer very nice looking clothes that are affordable. If you don’t want second-hand, there are stores that offer low cost attire and often the garments are brand names. Don’t let this diverse world influence you to spend more than you make. If you are spending money on course to obtain a long-term goal, it is important to cut back on expenses since tuitions are often high. Then, we can see that sacrifices are a part of time management as much as realizing that we all are different and have our own budgets. Unless you are a rich individual that can obtain your short and long-term goals right now, you will have to learn sacrificing traits in order to achieve your goals. Time is just as important as money, so if you are investing a lot of your time in sports and entertainment and not making money doing it, then you need to sit back and find a solution to increase your time on important areas that lead you to your goal, rather than wasting time.

Time Management, Avoiding Negative

Life is a bummer and then we pay the ultimate price. Times are always changing making it difficult for us to keep up with the advancements in our lives. If we are thinking positive most times good, fortunes come our way, but if we are pessimistic, it is likely life is going to get you down! When you get up in the morning do you often say, “help me make it through another day?” On the other hand, do you brew up some coffee, fire up the stove and put on a healthy breakfast, reading the newspaper as it cooks on the stove? If you are doing the second question in order, then you are on your way to success and managing your time well. When you are taking time out for yourself including you in your time management scheme, you are adding time to your schedule. This might sound crazy, but when you take time out for your self-including a healthy diet and exercise, you are bringing up spirits that work hard to be more productive in life. We are already on the edge of time, so there is no sense in making things harder than they are. One of the things that most people lack in life that most of us say we have is respect. Respect comes in several forms. We must have respect for our self before we can respect others. Respect is an interpersonal ability that makes obvious a positive reception of the individuality of other people and a broadmindedness to recognize the differences in others, and the readiness to work together with others as equals. Therefore if you are lacking respect you know time management is a waste of time, since most people you meet at work, school, or interact with at home is recognizing your inability to show respect for others. Lack of respect promotes GREED, which cultivates plans that strive on time against time, as well as negative thinking. It would take me all day to breakdown negative patterns in thinking process, but for the most part, we need to evaluate the essentials, since time management is the ability to bring forth success if time management is worked right.
If you are seeking a positive attitude you might want to find ‘self-disclosure’ which is the readiness to contribute your individual experiences with other individuals around you. This includes work, home and school or anyone you are. Personal experiences are how we learn to achieve. If we are open minded it brings forth positive. Immediacy is the ability to openly discuss with others what you have learned, and what you expect to gain. This is called effectual communication. When you have effectual communication, it sparks motivation, which in turn contributes success to your time management schemes. If the people around you are affecting your way of thinking, you might want to confront them instead of letting it go. We have no choices when it comes to work, family, and school. We have to be around other people and influences will affect us if we let them. Negative thinking is not a birth defect; it is the direct affect of teachings and influences. Do not let anyone misled you! One method that I found effective for avoiding negative thinking is not letting people control me, rather taking control of my own individuality. I stand firm in my beliefs simply because I did research for more than 20 years, investigated each and every word people said to me, and role played the solutions, and when I found positive was the day I found the TRUTH. The truth will indeed set you free. This is essential and I stress this logic since life is always changing and we have to accept those changes by finding the truth. Money is the root of all evil. There is no one in life that is not striving to make more money. Therefore, the key to thinking positive and planning a time management scheme is search within your self, research your information, and find a solution that best fits your plan for reaching your goals. No one has all the answers, but answer is available if you want to learn positive time management schemes.

Time Management Working to Succeed

Time management is the process of working to succeed. When we are working to succeed, we are reaching our goals. Sometimes it is difficult when time are constantly changing and problems get in our way, so it is important to decide which plan works for you as well as understanding that life has its ups and downs. When we are planning to reach goals, we have sit down and really ponder on what is needed to reach this goal or set of goals. Some of us prefer to set short-term goals, reach that goal and then go for a long-term goal. Most of us prefer to set short and long-term goals in the same time management scheme in an effort to reach both goals accordingly. This is always wise, since you do not want to start over with another time management scheme once you reach your short-term goal. One of the best tools provided to me in time management or rather business planning, was role-playing. When we are setting goals for our self and searching for a solution to make the goal work, it often helps to play out the parts as you come to a decision. If you see this works, then it is obviously part of the solution required to reach your goals. However, if you see that there are issues, then you need to re-evaluate to find a solution that is more fitting. Time management is essential, since it demands the person (s) to plan, act on those plans, and stay focused on those goals with motivation in play. You must also keep reality in view, since if you neglect the realness of the world, you will not be prepared when things go wrong.

Disasters such as storms, computer failures, family illness, personal sickness, and so on can happen any time. There is no sense in believing that you are absent from reality. It is always wise to include elements of your time management scheme in accordance with disaster, by thinking critical on the different issues that may arise. For example, if you plan a solution ahead of a computer failure, you will have the tools to continue working while your issue is addressed. Time solution is more than just planning then, it is a solution for planning here, now, and then. When you begin your planning, you should start by analyzing now. Now is in the present and you can see the elements that are needed to achieve your goals? If you know you need a computer to start a business in the next five-years, you should begin setting up a budget for the computer in demand. It is always wise when setting up budgets to open savings or money market accounts that does not take money from you, rather increases your savings by offering a nice interest on your savings. This can help you to reach the goal sooner. Computers are relatively cheaper nowadays, so you will not have to put much focus on this area, unless you intend to purchase a mainframe coupled with another system. Mainframes are expensive pieces of equipment. Next, you can search to find out more information about what is needed to start up a new business. It depends on the type of business you are achieving to reach, but most require desks, computers, pens, paper, cabinets, chairs, and so on. Be sure you add these expenses to your budgeting account. You may also want to include other essentials for starting a business, such as insurance policies, health insurance, and disaster recovery coverage and so on. Open separate accounts for your current financial obligations so that your savings will accumulate and your savings will not be affected. Try to avoid purchasing something that is not needed throughout the course of your time management planning, since this can only delay your progress. If you intend to open a business in five or ten years, make sure you keep this in sight while you work to the main goal laid out in your time management scheme. Time management is working to succeed. If you want to succeed then you must work hard every day to meet your goals.

Time Management Software

Sometimes we need software to help manage our time. Many small business owners invest more time thinking about how to spend the money for profit, and invest less time in how they will spend their time. Since time is money and money is time, a strategy needs to be active to get the most out of your time management scheme. If you do not have plans, goals, and putting them both to good use, it is likely your business can fail. An effectual business owner will pensively construct a plan that determines how his or her outlook in business and life will return. Most likely, you already have a budget plan, but to manage your time you should re-evaluate the budget plan to make sure you did not overlook important details. The most effectual way to balance your budget is to include time, since it is essential for saving money. Priorities should be in order at all times if possible. If you haven’t already done so, it is time to cultivate a timetable based on a concise list of main concern, with a short and long-term goal in view. One of the best solutions for creating lists, keeping inventory, important customers’ records, invoices and so on, is to store your information on software programs that provide the tools for maintaining company records. The software available helps you to manage your files, which increases your time to spend on your business. Many software programs are inexpensive, unless you have a larger business, which then the prices are subject to more expense. This is because larger companies have more data to store than the smaller companies and often require addition tools than the smaller businesses.

Small business owners need to keep records of their spending habits, and profits received. If you have been in business for some time, you will know that software can benefit your business, but sometimes we need the Top-Selling programs for accounting that simplifies our account records. QuickBooks, Microsoft Outlook, Windows, Mac, and NT are all top-selling programs that provide the right tools for any business owner. The software programs are ‘full featured accounting and payroll package’ that enable you to store important information on its program. Many of these programs have ‘features and reports’ that support ‘small business needs, including Internet and e-commerce features.” Most of the programs are ‘multi-user ready’ in case you have other individuals working at your business. The prices are often affordable and the investment is often rewarding. Time management tools make it easy for us to focus on the bigger picture, while we handle the smaller tasks. If you are advertising your business via Internet, but have difficulty maintaining your site or even building your site, there are software programs that direct you so that the task becomes easier. Anytime you find simplicity and ease, you are managing your time wisely. Why make life more complicated than it already is?

Time Management Provides Flexibility

Time management is a source for flexible schedules. When we have flexibility, we have more time for ourselves. Many of us make a list of tasks to handle and knock them down one by one. Some start with the larger tasks, while others begin with the smaller tasks and work their way up to the larger tasks. Whichever technique works best for you is the solution for constructing time management skills. If you are a freelance writer, it might be wise to work the smaller tasks first, and then move on to the bigger tasks, since writing can become very frustrating. If you are in the business of writing web content, copywriting, and so on, you know already that the work is never easy and time management is always a problem, since most of your focus is on getting the projects done. Still, you are responsible for invoices, paperwork, filing, and so on. When it comes tax day, the last thing you need is to search effortlessly without results for your tax preparation kit. Be sure to file all your paperwork in storage cabinets, labeling them correctly and precisely so that you have your papers on hand when they are needed most. Also, if you have files stored on your computer, be sure to backup your files so that nothing is lost. If you are having difficulties with your computer and have the means to get it fixed, do so immediately. Computers are annoying often, and if you neglect maintenance, your computer eventually will let you down. The best solution that contributes to time management is storing your data on a separate computer. Be sure the Internet has installed, but do not use the Internet on the computer where your documents are stored. This can save you time and money, since the Internet subjects us to viruses, Spy ware, Adware, and other harmful attachments that can cost us a fortune and consume our time.
If you can’t afford another computer at the moment backup your data on tapes or discs, and be sure to backup the same information on more than one storage medium.

When you are filing your data on the computer be sure that you label the files exact. This will help you find the information faster when your data is needed for review. If you have old files on your system and they are no longer needed, it is best to toss them since the files only take up time, space, and energy. You can purchase plastic storage cabinets or even wooden storage cabinets at any store that sells furniture or computer equipment, for storing paperwork. The cabinets are relatively cheap, and worth a fortune when you know where your papers are located. Time management brings forth flexibility, and when you have a flexible schedule; it brings forth rewards for yourself. It is often easier to achieve goals when schedules are flexible. Keeping your priorities straight is a great start for flexing your schedule and managing your time.

Time Management Progressed

In order to develop a time management scheme that works with our intended goals, we have to learn some of the basic layouts in planning time management. To develop a successful time management scheme we must evaluate time and calculate it against time. In other words, we must sit down and ask our self how long does it take us to eat? How long does it take us to complete a task? How much time are we wasting? Are we spending quality time with the most important people in our lives, or are we spending our quality time on things that do not matter. Where our time goes is essential since time management is the process of gaining flexibility and cutting back time. As you can see, life is a game of loose and gain. Even in time management, we are gaining something and loosing something, but the advantage of time management is that we are loosing something that brings us rewards and gaining something that brings us bigger rewards. It is a no loose situation if we plan time management right. Let the game begin!

Ok, you start you morning out with a healthy breakfast and going off to work with a positive attitude. When you get to work, you have your list of things to do in front of you, your desk is clear of clutter, and when you sit down and fire up that computer the machine is running smoothly…sounds too good to be true, but it can happen. If you look back in this paragraph, you will note I referred to “list of things to do.” Time management includes making notes or lists of things that you are responsible for completing in a day. The list can start with smaller tasks and lead to bigger tasks. It depends on the person and what is expected of them, but for the most part, it is the process of elimination. When you sit down at your desk and there is a list in front of you, you already know what is expected of you. Therefore, you can just jump right into action and finish the task. Notice I said FINISH the task. You should always finish one task before moving to another task, unless your job requires skills of multi-tasking. Once you finish the first task, you can move onto the next time and follow in pursuit. Once you completed all your tasks, sit back for a moment in a comfortable position and think of what you accomplished. When tomorrow comes, you will notice you do not have any backups, and that your day is running smoothly with new tasks laid out in front of you. Now, we can take a look at the computer. Your company is responsible to keep up maintenance on your computer, but you are responsible to notify the proper individuals when your computer is flopping. If you computer is operating smoothly you know your time management scheme is flowing smoothly, but if you notice that your computer is acting like a limping soldier, then you probably noticed problems earlier and failed to tell the boss. Or, it could be that this is the day that you computer decided to let you know that someone wasn’t keeping up maintenance, or “you worked me too hard, I need replacement.” Whatever the case, someone was negligence, or both were negligence, which means your time is going out the door while you wait for the technician to patch up your computer, or else wait for the delivery man to bring in the box. Time management includes making sure that things are running smoothly by maintaining your equipment, informing others when things go wrong, or upgrading when necessary. If you desk is clear when you enter your office, this should let you know that you are doing a good job, and motivate you to keep up the good work. You are saving time, since if your desk was cluttered you would be in your office early in the morning digging around for the list that your boss provided you. Now that you are on the road to time management progressed, you will next want to look at how you invest your time outside of work.
